Marineff Webinar

Marineff and CIRIA (the Construction Industry Research and Information Association) are hosting a webinar providing an update on the project and presenting progress on how eco-engineering modules have performed since being deployed on UK and French coasts. The project seeks to reduce the negative impact of marine infrastructure while protecting ecosystems and biodiversity.

The webinar will follow on from the webinar hosted by CIRIA in December 2020, which introduced the project and its aims and objectives. This webinar will remind viewers of the project’s module designs and give exciting updates about the marine life now calling them home, while sharing plans for the project’s future following the announcement of a 14-month funded extension. It will also provide insights about how coastal practitioners might meet the 10% biodiversity net gain in coastal and marine developments as mandated in the Environment Bill by using Marineff eco-engineering modules.
