The deadline for applications to the Interreg France (Channel) England ‘Call for Capitalisation Projects’ has been extended until 30 April 2021.

The call ‘Covid-19 emergency response - Maximising project impact’ targets current and former FCE projects, as well as organisations from within the programme area.

The call was first launched in December 2020 (see previous announcement) and due to close on 31 March 2021. The deadline has been extended to 30 April to provide projects with more time to finalise applications.

Following the Programme Monitoring Committee meeting on 23 March 2021, there is now €4.1m* ERDF remaining in the funding pot.

Partnerships 

Projects are encouraged to include new partners in order to better reach the relevant territories, target audiences or economic sectors. 

New partners should come from within the Programme area. They can come with or without previous experience of funding programmes. 

Budget and timeline 

For this call, a total of €4.1million ERDF is available. The maximum ERDF grant rate for partners is 100% of the total capitalisation project budget, unless the project/partners are State Aid relevant.

Key dates

  • Deadline for applications: 30 April 2021
  • Applications assessed by the Monitoring Committee: 15 June 2021.
  • Notification of decision: within 1 week of Monitoring Committee.

* The remaining funds are supported by an increase in the available funds from €8 to €10.8 million ERDF and reflect that €6.7 million euros has been awarded to a newly approved capitalisation project at the most recent Committee meeting.
