 The Interreg France (Channel) England programme is recruiting a Communications Support Officer to assist the Communications and Partnership Manager on external and internal communications, campaigns and media engagement for the Programme, all of which are in line with the objectives set out in the Communications Strategy.

We’re offering a fantastic opportunity to work in a broad communications role, dealing with European co-operation projects funded by the European Union until 31 December 2023.

 You will join a team which funds exciting collaborative projects between French and English communities in the Channel area.  These are aimed at bringing about improvements in innovation, social innovation, low carbon technologies, heritage, and water ecosystems.

 We are looking for someone with experience in communications, and who can write and speak in English and French to a high standard.  The role will include:

  • Creating and publishing content, drafting press releases and web articles, putting together newsletters, compiling analytics reports, and organising communications training 
  • Supporting projects with communications enquiries and providing advice and guidance on branding requirements and compliance with the EU regulations for communication 
  • Good digital skills in order to effectively plan and produce engaging social media content 

The post is for home working in France, and you will be part of a hardworking and collaborative team all of whom are currently working remotely.  The deadline for applications is 11.59pm on the 5 April 2021 and interviews will be held on 29 April 2021.
