Boulogne-sur-Mer is a coastal northern France city with a bit more than 40 000 inhabitants. First fishing port of France, it is one of the main touristic destination of the region thanks to its cultural heritage and sea sides. However the city suffers from a loss of attractivity of its city-centre as well as urban and social disparities that are found in three main deprived areas.
